Traditional Garments by Annia
Taught by her grandmother to sew, Annia is also a future biologist. She has apprenticed as a designer and seamstress under Carmen Friol (an icon of Cuban fashion) since 2010.
Keeping traditional form, Annia has managed to fuse them with modern concepts and improvements.
Comfortable and stylish loose fitting white shirts known as guayaberas and similarly loose fitting shirts matched with white or light colored pants as well as beautiful light skirts crafted in fresh linen or cotton (which are time tested traditional fabrics) are the main offerings. Subtle changes and additions have made these clothes attractive as traditional fashion and also to the younger generation.
Annia's workshop has been producing clothing for three years. Cuba Shopping Tours invites you to come with us and observe as she cuts and sews these wonderful garmets.
The best of her styles are available including the most sought after lines: Lydia, Adriana, Indira, Annia, Adele. Highly sought after, these stylish brands are often out of stock.
The men's classical line, some with embroidering, are also very popular. Comfortable and stylish, your husband will look like Marc Anthony sipping a piña colada in his attractive guayabera.
